Universal Correlators from Random Matrix Models.
Gernot Akemann
Abstract
Random matrix models are useful in a variety of physical
applications. Their most important feature is that correlation
functions of matrices are computable exactly, the results
being universal i.e. potential independent. The main technique
herefore is an iterative solution in 1/N of the corresponding
loop equation. The most general case of a multi-band eigenvalue
density is presented, which classifies the different universality
classes of the correlators.
