Universal Ratios of the Renormalization Group: The Tricritical Ising Model in Two Dimensions.

Abstract

We consider the universality class of the two--dimensional Tricritical Ising Model spanned by four relevant fields. The scaling form of the free--energy naturally leads to the definition of a set of non-universal amplitudes and a set of universal combinations thereof (the Universal Ratios). We compute these universal ratios by combined use of results coming from Perturbed Conformal Field Theory, Scattering Integrable Quantum Field Theory and numerical methods.
