Results on Field Theories at nonzero T and $mu^2$

Abstract
I present a few recent results on QCD--like models which do not suffer from the sign problem at nonzero baryon density. Emphasis is on the low temperature superfluid phase of two color QCD, and on the high T, small $mu^2$ edge of four fermion models. I discuss the implications of these results on the phase diagram of QCD at nonzero baryon density, and highlight analogies with the critical behaviour of magnetic systems in external fields.
