Abstract

The recent experimental measurements of Bs-Bsbar mixing and of the branching ratio   B -> tau nu_tau, together with the possibility of making unquenched lattice simulations at low quark masses, and preserving chiral properties, open new perspectives in flavour physics.
Several related subjects, as chiral properties of hadrons, hyperon form factors and the status of  the CKM matrix will also briefly reviewed.
