Third Announcement

Dear "SM&FT 2008" Participants,

This is the third announcement of "SM&FT 2008", to be held 3-5 September 2008 at the
Department of Physics of the University of Bari.

The program of the conference is now available on the website

There will be an excursion to Trani (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trani)
scheduled on Thursday afternon.
Buses will leave at 16.30 starting from the main entrace of the University Campus
(see map: http://www.ba.infn.it/~smft/Map.htm)
The workshop dinner will take place at "Masseria Barbera" after the excursion.

A wireless connection will be available throughout the workshop venue (rooms A-B of the Department
of Physics).
Participants could ask for an account at registration time.
There will be also a couple of PC's available for internet connections.

Speakers are strongly encouraged to send in advance their presentation file (pdf) to smft@ba.infn.it
in order to avoid delay during the sessions
(as in the past editions of the workshop we will make available presentation files on the web page
after the end of the workshop).

TRAVEL:
To get from the Bari airport to downtown see "arrival services" on the

Notice that taxi fare from airport to downtown is ~40EURO.
Please be careful of your belongings and be aware that there may be pickpockets around, particularly in downtown areas.
