Title
Theoretical review on CP violation
Abstract
In this talk, we shall focus on the B-meson system, which provides
many
avenues to perform stringent tests of the Standard-Model
description of
CP violation. After a brief introduction, emphasizing the main
theoretical
problems in this game and giving a classification of the strategies
to
deal with them, we turn to the B-factory benchmark modes and
explore
the implications of the currently available data. We will then move
on
to the "El Dorado" for B-decay studies at hadron colliders, the
Bs-meson
system, and will discuss new, theoretically clean strategies to
determine
the angle gamma of the unitarity triangle before summarizing our
conclusions
and giving a brief outlook.
