The soft-collinear effective theory and factorization in exclusive B decays
Abstract
We will first review the soft-collinear effective theory. The relation between the effective theory and the conventional perturbative QCD is discussed. Then we will apply the soft-collinear effective theory in B->Dpi decay to explore the validity of factorization theorem. The question of using factorization is discussed.
