Travel information


By plane: Recommended airport is Bari. There are regular flights connecting Bari to the international airports in Rome and Milan. For the Alitalia flights see: Alitalia flight online schedules. For other  companies connecting Bari to several European airports see the Bari Airport web site.
Shuttles from the Bari airport to Martina Franca will be provided by the Workshop Organization.
By train: Recommended railway station is Bari Centrale. See Trenitalia online timetable. A shuttle to Martina Franca will be provided by the Workshop organization.
By car: There are many roads from Bari to Martina Franca. Three of them are indicated in Map1, Map2, Map3, respectively the fastest, the shortest and the sea-side.


If you arrive by plane or by train, do not forget to notify us your expected arrival time, date, and place, so that the Workshop organization can arrange the shuttle service in advance.
Private taxi service would be expensive, since the Bari airport and railway station are about 70 Km far from the Workshop site.
In any case it is worthwhile to know that Martina Franca is connected to Bari by Ferrovie del Sud-Est trains leaving every 1-2 hours, during the day, from the railway station of Bari Centrale: see the timetable.
