Higgs Physics on the Edge

Dettagli dell'evento
The Higgs boson, has been discovered over ten years ago at the LHC but two questions remain, is this the Standard Model Higgs boson we looked for, or, even more importantly can this new boson hold hints for beyond Standard Model physics?
As most of the Higgs boson properties have been measured over the last decade, several avenues for exploration remain: measuring the Higgs properties like its mass with an increasing precision, measure all of its cross sections differentially, or, search for the rarest Higgs properties on the edge of what we can observe.
Torben who is visiting Bari for a short scientific mission will tell us about his journey on this edge, with older results such as the first evidence for Higgs boson decays into muons, a process 4000 times rarer than inclusive single Higgs boson production, newer results on Di-Higgs production (2000 times rarer than single Higgs) where he was involved in the first search for multi lepton final states and most recently his work on Di-Higgs combinations and reinterpretations for which he is visiting Bari.
