Kicks off in Trani the first edition of the Summer School on Quantum Optical Technologies

From 18 to 24 September in the prestigious headquarters of the Palazzo delle Arti Beltrani in Trani the “Summer School on Quantum Optical Technologies” an initiative organized by the University of Bari Aldo Moro and the INFN Section of Bari in collaboration, among others, with Auriga SpA and INRIM, will take place.

The school, which runs in continuity with the Quantum Workshops organized in Turin every two years, is aimed at the international community of students and researchers in quantum physics and aims to illustrate the frontiers of quantum optical technologies, from quantum imaging to metrology and quantum communication technologies, computation and simulations, considering both theoretical and experimental aspects.

Participation is going to be large, with 140 students and about 20 lecturers from the most prestigious research institutions and universities worldwide.

The program also includes several outreach events in which we will talk about the so-called second quantum revolution.
